Designer Julie Short had the pleasure of fully designing and furnishing this beautiful condo in downtown Winston-Salem. From floor to ceiling, Julie handpicked every detail that went into her clients' new home. She met their request for cozy, modern interiors through bold color palettes and luxe accents throughout. Some of her favorite parts of this design are the geometric wall in the master suite, tile fireplace, contemporary light fixtures, and all of the custom seating.
Julie styled this entryway space with a unique concave fluted sideboard, upholstered armchairs, custom window treatments, landscape paintings, and touches of greenery throughout.
The first floor of the condo is also home to the guest bedroom! Julie styled the space with contemporary furniture and cozy layers on the bed to maximize comfort for guests.
Heading upstairs from the first floor brings you to the main living area and kitchen. Julie filled this space with custom-made pieces including the bench cushion sofa, leather swivel chairs, boucle ottoman, and floor-to-ceiling tile fireplace. She accessorized with a rice parchment shadow box art piece, cowhide rug, and bar cart styled with vintage decanters. Julie gave the kitchen a modern look with fresh paint, new hardware on the cabinets, marble countertops, and a stunning waterfall island. A few of her favorite styling details in the kitchen are the Capiz shell pendant lights, leather counter stools, and framed map of Winston-Salem. Julie also made sure to leave a gift basket of locally sourced products and goodies for her clients. We can't think of a better way to say "welcome home"!
The third floor of the condo is dedicated to a gorgeous master suite. Julie filled this room with eye-catching details including a custom geometric wall, boucle upholstered bedframe, arched mirrors, and a stunning beaded chandelier. She tackled the master bathroom with new paint and hardware on the cabinets, new mirrors, artwork, and greenery. She incorporated cool tones throughout the décor to create a relaxing vibe while making sure to leave plenty of space for functionality on the countertops.
